Prescription Diet Home Delivery

To better serve our clients, Ally Pet Medical Center is reducing our in-clinic inventory of prescription diets. Moving forward, we encourage clients to order their pet’s food through our online pharmacy, where it can be shipped directly to your home- quickly, safely, and conveniently. Ordering online helps ensure your pet never runs out of food, as you can set up automatic shipments and avoid any chance of the clinic being out of stock. New Bladder Stone Discovered

Researchers have identified a new type of bladder stone- calcium tartrate tetrahydrate (CTT) uroliths- linked to fresh or homemade pet diets that use the supplement choline bitartrate.

This is one reason why we recommend veterinary-approved brands with decades of research, proven safety, and strict quality control. Newer or “fad” diets often haven’t been studied long enough to reveal hidden risks- just like how grain-free diets were later linked to heart disease. We want your pets to stay healthy and happy for years to come, which is why we guide you toward diets backed by research and safety. Local Cats Infected with Bird Flu

There have been confirmed reports of local cats (in King and Snohomish counties) infected with bird flu after being fed a raw food diet, specifically Wild Coast Raw, which has previously been linked to infected cats in Oregon. The current strain circulating is considered to be low risk for humans; however, if you are feeding or handling raw food diets for your pets, that risk is increased. We do not recommend any raw food diet for pets due to the potential for serious health risks (for both pet and person) from exposure to harmful bacteria or viruses. If you have any concerns about your pet's diet or health, please contact us.
